Introduction

These Terms and Conditions govern your reservations, stay, and use of services at Diyanilla Resort & Wellness in Unawatuna, Galle, Sri Lanka. By confirming a booking or using our website, you agree to comply with and be bound by these policies.

Reservations & Payment

  • Confirmation: A booking is officially confirmed upon receipt of the required advance deposit or full payment as stated during the reservation process.
  • Pricing & Taxes: All room rates, offers, and special packages are quoted in USD (or equivalent LKR at the prevailing daily exchange rate) and include applicable local taxes and service charges unless explicitly stated otherwise.
  • Special Offers: Promotional rates, complimentary inclusions (such as daily breakfast), and coupon codes (e.g., STAY100) are subject to room availability, specific travel dates, and cannot be combined with other ongoing promotions.

Check-in & Check-out Policies

  • Check-in: From 2:00 PM onwards. Early check-in is subject to room readiness upon arrival.
  • Check-out: Until 11:00 AM. Late check-out requests must be confirmed with the front desk and may incur additional fees.
  • Guest Identification: In accordance with Sri Lankan tourism and hospitality regulations, valid government-issued photo identification or a passport is required from all guests upon check-in.

Cancellation & Modification Policy

  • Flexible Cancellation: Free cancellation is accepted up to 7 days prior to your confirmed arrival date.
  • Late Cancellations & No-Shows: Cancellations made within 7 days of arrival, or failure to check in on the scheduled date, will incur a fee equal to the cost of the first night’s stay.
  • Early Departures: Departures prior to the scheduled check-out date are treated as cancellations of the remaining nights and are non-refundable.

Resort Conduct & Guest Experience

  • Wellness & Tranquility: Diyanilla Resort & Wellness is designed as an intimate sanctuary of calm. Guests are requested to respect the privacy, peace, and relaxation of other residents, particularly around the pool and late evening hours.
  • Damage to Property: Guests will be held financially responsible for any intentional damage or loss caused to the resort’s facilities, furniture, or equipment during their stay.
  • Smoking Policy: Smoking is strictly prohibited inside all indoor suites and enclosed living areas. Designated outdoor smoking areas are available.

Liability

  • Personal Belongings: The resort provides safe accommodations; however, guests remain solely responsible for the safety of their valuable items and personal belongings.
  • Force Majeure: Diyanilla Resort & Wellness cannot be held liable for failure to provide reserved accommodations or amenities due to circumstances beyond reasonable control, including natural occurrences, weather disruptions, or government restrictions.
